All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Rahul Gandhi will address two public meetings in the State on Saturday. This will be his first visit after the Election Commission of India (ECI) had announced the poll schedule.
Rahul will address a meeting at Bhainsa town in Adilabad followed by another in Kamareddy. He will arrive in Bhainsa from Maharashtra’s Nanded.
After the meetings, he will reach Hyderabad to hoist the Congress flag near Charminar as part of Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Yatra Commemoration Day and to address a gathering here.
Former chief minister of undivided Andhra Pradesh K Rosaiah will be conferred the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavana Yatra Commemoration award.
Meanwhile, the Congress sources said issues pertaining to seat-sharing between the members of Prajakutami were being resolved, and the list of candidates would be announced after Rahul’s visit.
